Junior Online Advertising Specialist

Do you want to help good causes grow through smart, data-driven campaigns? Are you ready to turn your marketing skills into real-world impact? Then this might be the role you’re looking for.

About the function

At Jalt, we help NGOs scale up their digital fundraising by turning people’s intent to do good into measurable growth.

As a Junior Online Advertising Specialist, you’ll be part of the team that runs and optimises digital fundraising campaigns for some of the most inspiring organisations in the Netherlands and abroad including Amnesty International, the Dutch Heart Foundation, and Natuurmonumenten.

You’ll work hands-on across channels such as Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and Google Ads, learning how to attract and convert donors online. Together with colleagues from our strategy and creative teams, you’ll translate insights into strategies that help NGOs build lasting donor relationships.

Your responsibilities

  • You manage the campaigns for your own portfolio of diverse organizations; setting up, optimizing, and reporting on online campaigns. You are also knowledgeable about conversion tracking;
  • Monitoring and analyzing data daily so that you understand how KPIs influence results, in order to identify opportunities. You know when to intervene and work closely with colleagues to improve results;
  • During the campaign, you are the point of contact for the client. You keep them up to date on the results and provide advice to benefit the outcome.

About you

You’re analytical, curious and motivated by impact. You enjoy seeing results in numbers and you bring:

  • A bachelor’s degree (HBO or equivalent).
  • 6–24 months’ experience with digital marketing or online fundraising.
  • Working knowledge of Meta Ads and Google Ads.
  • Interest in A/B testing, data analysis and CRO.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • A proactive, accountable mindset. You take ownership.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English, and based in the Netherlands.

What we offer

  • A full-time role (32–40h) in the Houthavens, Amsterdam (hybrid).
  • 3,300–4,100 euro/month, depending on experience, plus pension plan.
  • Work that genuinely matters, helping NGOs grow their digital impact.
  • A clear growth path, personal coaching and a development plan.
  • Training budget and continuous learning opportunities.
  • A collaborative team built on impact, accountability and improvement.
  • Team lunches, socials and an annual Jalt weekender.
  • A MacBook and all the tools you need to do your best work.
